We are really satisfied with this app. Thru phone app is much easier to upload pictures and it takes less time. Also, as you can see past reports and pictures, you can recognize place from which picture was taken and make similar picture to previous. For comparison, that is great.

App is user friendly can be picked up by new user quickly. It is definitely a faster process. On board for past 3-month vessel was completing both DPR and conventional reports. Conventional methods are more time consuming, as photos have to be transferred from camera to computers, resized and compiled in reports.

SteelCorr is very effective for corrosion maintenance onboard. After implementation of stock updates, it provides easy access to the stock consumed and onboard ROB in one place. No need to maintain separate excel sheets. Over a period of time, we have seen a lot of improvements to make the lives of seafarers easy and the website is very user friendly. The Steelcorr app provides continuous feedback to help make our job better every time. It also gives a good learning experience to shipboard staff.

The idea behind the application itself is very good, modern, and definitely has strong potential for further development. The transition toward digital reporting and centralized data management is a necessary step today, not simply an additional benefit. One of the biggest advantages is that there is no longer a need to duplicate information such as inventory, paint stock, tools, and related records in separate Excel files. This significantly simplifies documentation routines and reduces unnecessary administrative workload onboard.
